Standard Damper Actuators
The F30A series is designed for precise control of air volume and direction in commercial and industrial ventilation systems. As non-spring return actuators, they hold their position when power is removed, making them suited to modulating and on/off duties where a defined fail-safe position isn't required. Three variants are available — standard, low noise, and fast running — sharing a common mounting arrangement and control platform, so specifiers can select on performance without changing installation approach.

Fast-running actuators are designed for HVAC applications where the damper must reach its commanded position significantly faster than with a conventional actuator.
They provide rapid and accurate positioning for applications requiring quick airflow adjustment, pressure control or system response, while retaining the same flexible control options available across the standard actuator range.

Note: Higher speed carries trade-offs — 15 W draw against 1.5–5 W for the standard unit, 55–60 dB against ≤45 dB, and a ≥30,000 cycle life against ≥70,000. Size the supply accordingly.
Control Signals and Wiring
All modulating F30A actuators use an onboard SW1 dial switch to select input signal type and feedback range, so a single model covers several control configurations.
